Part Time Event Planning Internships (For Students, for college credit only)
Toyl Events offers internship programs year round for students and recent graduates. Our internships offer the opportunity to help plan major events such as the Bachelorette & Bachelor Events, The Curve Appeal Events and more. Depending on your specific team, duties may include calling vendors, vendor meetings, site visits, client consultations, shopping for event supplies, planning large expos, on-site coordination, marketing, promoting & day of event decor. College credit is available for students that are enrolled in an internship course willing to allow you to participate in an internship with Toyl Events in return for obtaining college credit as compensation. Sales commission opportunities are available based on your schools internship policies. PT Interns work 12-18 hours per week.
Full Time Event Planning Internships (Commission based)
Toyl Events also offers full time internship programs year round. Our internships offer the opportunity to help plan major events such as the Bachelorette & Bachelor Events, The Curve Appeal Events and more. Depending on your specific team, duties may include calling vendors, vendor meetings, site visits, client consultations, shopping for event supplies, planning large expos, on-site coordination, marketing, promoting, day of event decor and much more. Toyl Events internship are full time commitments and are to considered like a regular job. For the first 3 events or 6 months that your work for Toyl Events, you will be paid 100% by commissions. This means that you are paid when and if you acquire business for the company. After your internship is over, you may be offered a percentage based position as a junior event coordinator. FT Interns work 19-25 hours per week.
Internship Qualifications
Toyl Events understands that the people seeking internships do not have experience or else they would not have a need to intern so, no past event planning experience is required. However, we do ask for:
Outgoing Personality ~ you should be fun assertive, motivated, independent, pleasant, resourceful, and able to multi-task.
Weekend availability ~ and day of events are mandatory for event planning teams
Great Listening ~ Comprehension Skills ~ Must be able to listen to instructions and carefully and correctly follow directions.
Computer Skills ~ Word, Excel, and General Internet Skills (Must also have a lap top)
